Terra Diver is the new project from multi instrumentalist and vocalist Tal Pearson (Roots of Creation / Grateful Dub), and the debut EP 'Jupiter' is out now.  A Stark departure from the music he is known for performing, Terra Diver is a realization of all music Pearson has taken influence from through life. The release focuses around it's centerpiece, the 10 minute instrumental title track 'Jupiter', itself a cover of Gustav Holst's euphoric classic, reimagined for the amplification generations. Flanked by bursts of shoegaze waves and overdriven riffs, Jupiter melts the crust of the earth and blasts the listener off to hazy new dimensions!

As our story begins, we find our heroes in the death throes of a hasty exit from their home planet....

I can see for miles and miles And we can take the long way there Future Vision! Future Vision! Future Vision! Future Vision! Time will move from side to side Across a kinetic wave of light Future Vision! Future Vision! Future Vision! Future Vision! Fly four thousand mile per hour Gaining speed into the vast unknown

Sleeping is a dream I find it takes me Away from here Sleeping is a dream I find it takes me Where I need to be Sleeping is a dream I find it takes me Where I need to be Sleeping is a dream I find it takes me Away from here

Disappearing 03:16
Somewhere out on the ocean Across the waves the rise and fall Deep beyond imagination Some kind of madness I don't know Every time I see that ship go It feels like everything's complete Somebody, somewhere is waiting Some other ocean at her feet That disappearing horizon It brings cold comfort to my soul An ever present reminder The constant face of the unknown

I can believe that there's something out there That can carry us further away From the home in our minds that's gotten lost into time Just a little bit more every day We come from a place no escape from the chase Of better things in front of your eyes So now is the chance for a sci fi romance As we drift along in search of new skies I can believe! I can believe we'll be better one day Seeking light where there was no before It's the kind of a life from an old travel guide With a sailboat approaching the shore So cast out the mast and tilt to the port With an eye to the stars the next morn' And off into space we'll sail our big ship Away from the place we were born I can believe!
